Kabul to have air corridors with Ankara, Dubai
Kabul is expected to open air cargo links with Turkish capital Ankara and UAE's Dubai in two weeks.
The office of presidential adviser on banking and financial affairs told  that there would be remarkable increase in the volume of exports with the inauguration of the corridors.
Sameer Rasa, a spokesman for the office, said that the country’s domestic products would sell at a higher price with the opening of the routes.
The country’s chamber of commerce said that dried fruits and herbal products were ready to be exported to Ankara and Dubai through air corridors.
Khan Jan Alokozay, deputy chamber of commerce, said that that commodities would be exported on air corridors by foreign airlines.
Earlier, Kabul launched air corridors with Mumbai, New Delhi and Kazakhstan. So far, more than 2,500 tonnes of fruits, carpet and herbal products have been transported from Kabul and Kandahar through air.
