The battle happened between militants loyal to Naeem and those loyal to Farid in Charkh district.
It happened as militants loyal to Farid tried to stop two Hilux vehicles belonging to Naeem’s group, that were carrying drugs, said Shapoor Ahmadzai, a spokesman for provincial police.
He said that 11 militants were killed while four more were injured in the infighting.
Taliban, however, denied any infighting in the area.
