Afghanistan defeats Kyrgyzstan 4-0 in Under-16s football match

The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said the Afghan U-16s managed to secure a victory 4-0 over Tajikistan during the match on Monday.
According to a statement released by AFF, the match was hosted by Uzbekistan and this was the second victory of the Afghan U-16s in the tournament after their defeat by their hosts Uzbekistan.
The statement further added that with yesterday’s victory Afghanistan secured the second spot in the Central Asian Under-16s Football Tournament.
This comes as the Afghan U-16s managed to secure a victory 1-0 over Tajikistan during the match on Saturday.
Earlier, the Uzbekistan Under-16s football team defeated Afghanistan 4-1 during the opening match of the Afghan Under-16s in the tournament.
The Afghan team had earlier left for Oman to participate in a 6-day training camp. They had also played two friendly matches with Oman in a bid to prepare for the Central Asian Tournament.
