Five Taliban members including their commander were killed after explosives they were carrying in a car went off in Ghazni city in east Afghanistan.

The explosion took place in Mangor village in Police District 3 while a commander along with his four other fighters were trying to carry the bomb on Wednesday noon, said Farid Ahmad Mashal, provincial police chief of Ghazni.
He added that Rahimullah, known as Mullah Zakir, was leading a group of 15 Taliban members under the leadership of Mullah Sherkhan.
