MoU Signed to Establish Cultural Centers in Herat, Khurasan Provinces
To establish two cultural centers, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Ministry of Information and Culture and Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran local media reported on Sunday.
AVA- The MoU signed by Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi and Iranian ambassador in Kabul Mohmammad Reza Bahrami, according to the source.
Based on the agreement, a cultural center would be established in Herat and another in Khurasan province of Iran.
These two centers would work on cultural issues between the two countries.
During inking the agreement, Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi spoke about deep historical and cultural relations between the two countries and said Afghanistan and Iran enjoyed common history and culture.
She also hoped these two centers could play effective role in restoring peace and stability in Afghanistan.
In his turn, Iranian ambassador said Afghanistan and Iran were two brother countries that have enjoyed common religion, culture, history and language.
He said Iranians was thanking Afghanistan their second home.  Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari was also present during the meeting.
