Eight police killed in separate incidents in Zabul

AVA- In one incident, a man opened fire at police in the governor’s compound in Shahr-i-Safa district, said Mohammad Mustafa Mayar, the provincial police chief.
The attack happened at arms depot and it injured also four other policemen.
The firing caused blast at the depot, as a result of which the attacker was killed.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb exploded in the provincial capital city Qalat, killing three police, Mayar said.
The police were travelling to assist police in Shahr-i-Safa district following the shooting incident.
