Afghanistan's Hussain Bakhsh Safari won gold medal at the Al Ain International Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the United Arab Emirates.

Safari achieved first position in the 67kg category after beating his rivals from Russia and Jordan.
He defeated Russia’s Romini Toshzod 10-0 on points and Jordan’s Abdallah Abu Naim by submission.
The event attracted athletes from over 45 countries and Safari was Afghanistan’s only representative.
