Abdullah says won
Afghanistan's Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said on Tuesday he wouldn't join election ticket of any presidential candidate.

Speaking at a gathering in Kabul, Abdullah said that he would decide on the upcoming political event after consultation with people.
The Independent Election Commission has set 20th Aprilas presidential Election Day
On Monday, an American newspaper reported that US was considering asking the Afghan government to postpone the presidential election due to peace efforts. It said that the idea was raised by US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad.
CE Abdullah, however, rejected the idea, saying election will be held on due time.
Meeting with US Ambassador John Bass, Abdullah said that peace is separate from election.
Bass said that the US support timely presidential election, Abdullah’s office said in a statement.
