Dozens of Khogyani youths join Local Armed Forces after completing training
Dozens of soldiers of a Local Army Unit were deployed to Khogyani district in eastern Nangarhar province after completing their training.
AVA- The provincial government media office in a statement said a ceremony was organized in 201st Silab Corps headquarters to celebrate the graduation of the soldiers in which Gen. Mohammad Zaman Waziri, director of the training of the armed forces, commander of the educational Kandak, some officers, army soldiers, and others had participated.
The Commander of 201st Silab Corps Gen. Mohammad Zaman Waziri said the former soldiers of the Afghan National Army have voluntarily joined the Afghan Local Armed forces.
Gen. Waziri further added that the soldiers completed professional studies and training and will be deployed in Khogyani district to serve the people and maintain security in their region.
The director of the educations and training of Silab Corps said the youths have been trained over a period of 12 weeks and have full resolve to maintain security in the region.
Some of the graduates of the Local Armed Forces assured the people and officials that they are mentally and physically prepared to maintain security in their region considering the previous experiences and new training they have received.
