Iranian Army to ensure border security with Afghanistan

AVA- “We will definitely have safer borders than before,” Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri told reporters, Iranian Tasnim reported.
Iranian forces along the eastern and southeastern border areas are frequently attacked by terrorist groups coming from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Tehran has repeatedly asked the two neighbours to step up security at the common borders to prevent terrorist attacks on Iranian forces.
