IEC announces initial election results for Herat, Kunduz, Helmand, Kandahar
The Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan (IEC) on Sunday announced the preliminary results in respect of parliamentary election results for Herat, Kunduz, Helmand, and Kandahar provinces.

According to IEC announcement, Habib Ur Rehman Pedram(16,796) votes, Mohammad Reza Khoshak Watandost (16,140) votes, Omar Nasir Mojadedi (10929) votes, Haji Mohammad Sadiq Qaderi (10,171) votes, Munawar Shah Bahaduri (8,324) votes, Nisar Ahmad Faizai Ghoriani (7,612) votes, Naqibullah Arvin (7,306) votes, Ghulam Farooq Majrooh (7,004) votes, Ustad Hamidullah Hanif (6,946) votes, Haji Shapoor Popal (6,920) votes, Syed Azim Kabirzani(6,528) votes, Alhaj Ghulam Farooq Nazri (6,263) votes, Rahima Jami (3,686)votes, Masooda Karokhi (2,822) votes, Semin Barekzi (2,323) votes, Nahid AhmadiFarid (1959) votes, and Ustad Sherin Shahabi (1773) votes have been elected aswinners to obtain seats in the Lower House of the Parliament, Wolesi Jigar,from Herat province.
Similarly, Alhaj Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi (2,986) votes, Eng. Kamal Safi(2,276) votes, Shah Khan Sherzad (1996) votes, Eng. Mohamaduddin Hamdard(1905) votes, Mohammadullah Batash (1699) votes, Haji Mohammad Omar Khan (1631)votes, Fazal Karim Aimaq (1586) votes, Nilofar Jalali Kofi (1257) votes, and Dr. Fatima Azizi (1042) votes have been elected from northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan.
Mohammad Zafar Sadeqi (4,041) votes, Mirwais Popal (3,573)votes, Haji Ghulam Wali Afghan (3,341) votes, Mirwais Khadem (3,146) votes, Alhaj Mohammad Karim Atal (2,798) votes, Abdul Rashid Azizi (2,580) votes, Nasima Niazi (1463) votes, and Habiba Sadat (818) votes have won seats from Helmand province.
Hajji Syed Ahmad Khadem (8,186) votes, Syed Muqtada Miran(7,419) votes, Dr. Mahmood Khan Nusrat (7,041) votes, Rohuallah Khanzada(6,471) votes, Gul Ahmad Kamin (5,082) votes, Mohammad Omar Sherzad (4,497), Syed Ahmad Silab (4,143) votes, Eng. Mohammad Arif Noorzai (3,976) votes, Fariba Kakar (4,965) votes, Malalai Ishaqzai (2,900) votes, and Arzoo Safi (1848) votes have been elected from southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan.
In the meantime, deputy spokesman for the Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan told Khaama Press News Agency that there count of votes in respect of Kabul elections has concluded and the results will be announced by the end of this week or early next week.
