A huge joint military operation has started to ensure security and stability in Jalalabad-Torkham highway yesterday.

AVA- The operation has begun by support of Afghan air forces with participation of hundreds Afghan National Army, Afghan police and uprising personnel in Ghanikhail and Mohmand Dara districts alongside Jalalabad-Torkham highway.
Senior commander of Afghan National Army in the east of the country told media, until now several villages have been cleared from existence of anti-government militias alongside the highway.
By conducting the military operation trying to annihilate armed oppositions and completely clean-up the highway from being terrorists, the source added.
