AVA- Spurs, who were beaten by Chelsea in the league cup semi-finals on Thursday, conceded just 9 minutes into the match when Connor Wickham tapped in from close range.
Andros Townsend then made it 2 from the penalty spot in the 34th minute. Tottenham had a chance to make a comeback when they were awarded a penalty on the stroke of half time, only for Kieran Trippier to shoot it wide from the spot.
