Yielding to Enemy to Solve Economic Problems ‘an Unforgivable Mistake’
Leader of the Islamic Revolution said “it is an unforgivable mistake to think that economic problems are solely a result of sanctions and the solution solely is to kneel against the enemy and kiss the devil’s hand.”
AVA- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei issued an important and strategic statement on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday.
In his statement, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution thanked Iranians for their glorious turnout in rallies marking the Islamic Revolution’s 40th anniversary on February 11, saying this has brought respect and honor to the Iranian nation, over the past four decades. Iran is at an elevated position worldwide thanks to its Revolution, the Leader said.
Addressing youth and the future generations in Iran, Imam Khomeini stressed having realistic outlook on the future and the unrivaled role of young people in taking the second great step towards achieving aspirations.
He called on Iranian youths to work hard to speed up national progress.
Imam Khamenei said “the oppressed people rarely make revolution. Among these few people who make revolutions, few succeed in achieving their goals and principles through the revolution. But the Islamic Revolution, which is the largest and most popular modern revolution ever, is now in its forties without betraying its principles. ”
Imam Khamenei said dialog with United States will bear no fruit, adding that Iran considers US and some European states as deceitful and untrustworthy.
He said the United States’ main challenge is Iran’s support for Palestine and its powerful presence in the region. Washington’s problem is to prevent the transfer of advanced Iranian arms to resistance forces, the Leader said.
“US sees itself in need of support by other countries to confront Iran politically,” Imam Khamenei noted, adding that the US will be defeated in any confrontation with Iran.
