Pakistan PM Offers Talks with India after Kashmir Clashes
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan called for talks with India Wednesday after both sides said they had shot down each other’s warplanes, a dramatic escalation of the confrontation between the nuclear-armed rivals.
AVA- “I once again invite India to come to the negotiating table,” Khan, who has called for dialogue with New Delhi in the past, said in a televised statement.
“Better sense should prevail,” he added, before alluding to the nuclear arsenal of both South Asian countries and asking: “If escalation begins from here, where will it go?”
The tensions between Pakistan and India worsened after on Tuesday New Delhi said that Indian air force jets carried out air strikes on militant camps inside Pakistan. 
According to the New Delhi, 12 Indian fighters targeted a hideout of Jaish-e-Mohammad group in Balakot area in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. 
In reaction to the airstrikes, Pakistan military said they will retaliate. 
Indian media also on Wednesday reported that India has shot down an f-16 fighter of Pakistan, but Islamabad has rejected the claim.
