A six-year-old girl who was kidnapped in capital Kabul has been found dead, the Interior Ministry said Wednesday.

AVA- The victim, identified as Mahsa, was kidnapped three days ago from Police District 11 of the city.
Kidnappers had been demanding a ransom of 300,000 US dollars from her family for her release. The victim is said to be daughter of a money dealer.
Police acted to secure her release, but she was found dead, city’s police chief Syed Mohammad Roshandil told reporters.
He said that two culprits were arrested in connection with the crime.
The official said that the culprits were related to each other as cousin. He said that the culprits confessed to keeping the victim in a shop before strangling her to death.
President Ashraf Ghani said he was deeply saddened by what he called a brutal murder. He ordered the relevant authorities to severely punish perpetrators of the crime.
