At least five Taliban militants were killed in a clash with police force members in Kandahar province, the provincial police said Saturday.

Kanahar Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan said that the clash occurred in Maiwand district in Taimor area when Taliban militants attacked police soldiers. 
 
He said that at least three police force members were killed and one policeman was wounded in the clash. 
 
He said three militants were wounded in the clash. 
 
Taliban has not commented on the clash.
