Explosion foiled in Kabul city, remote-controlled IED seize: MoI
The Ministry of Interior has announced that the security forces have thwarted an explosion in Kabul city.

According to a statement released by Ministry of Interior, the remote-controlled Improvised Explosive Device was planted on a roadside in the vicinity of 17th police district of the city.
The statement further added that the Afghan National Police forces managed to defuse the bomb before the anti-government armed militants manage to detonate it.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the report so far.
The Ministry of Interior had earlier announced that Special Forces discovered and defused a 500kg aircraft bomb in Takhta Pul district of Kandahar province.
