Meanwhile, the Presidential Palace officials apologized over the alleged assault of a senior journalist, Abdullah Khenjani by PPS guards during the press conference held at 1TV at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
“The head of PPS guards, Gen. Raiz Arayn, the deputy of spokesperson to the president, Shahussain Murtazawi and me visited 1TV to apologize Mr. Khenjani. Moreover, Nai-Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan said in statement that apology after violence against journalists could not be the solution.
“The government should not consider apology as solutions for violence against journalists. It should seek a proper and practical solution for violence against journalists caused by governmental officials.” said the managing director of Nai, Abdul Mujeeb Khalvatgar.
