Six civilians killed in Kandahar bomb blast
Six civilians were killed when the car they were travelling in was struck by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province on Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened in Paniz village of Dand district.

All six people who were travelling in the car were killed. Four children and two youths were among them, said Qasim Azad, secretary of provincial police.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Civilians continue to bear the brunt of conflict in Afghanistan. Last year, civilian deaths hit record annual high of 3,804.
