The Kabul Police forces have arrested the security guards of a lawmaker who had brutally beaten a trader last week.

The Police Headquarters of Kabul in a statement said the police forces have arrested two security guards of lawmaker Amir Gul Shaheen for beating a local trader.
The statement further added that the government and security institutions will take legal actions against the detained individuals.
The Lower House Lawmaker, Amir Gul Shaheen and his security guards had beaten the trader in Nadir Pashtun commercial area of Kabul.
A video of the incident went viral on social media which sparked furor among the people with majority condemning the brutal beating of the trader by MP Shaheen and his guards.
The incident reportedly erupted following a brawl over a business deal.
Meanwhile, MP Shaheen has claimed that his security guards acted in his defense following the brawl which turned violent.
