The security forces conducted multiple operations in central Logar province inflicting heavy casualties on Taliban militants.

The Ministry of Interior claimed in a statement that the security forces killed 48 Taliban militants during the operations.
The statement further added that the security forces conducted the operations in Pul-e-Alam, Baraki Barak and Khoshi districts.
Furthermore, the interior ministry said the security forces also wounded 10 Talian militants during the same operations.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior said the security forces and local residents did not suffer casualties during the operations.
