A senior Afghan presidential guard has died of wounds he suffered in a bomb attack.

Colonel Abdul Ghafar Ahmadzai, the commander of President Ashraf Ghani's house guards, was had been wounded by magnetic bomb in Police District 16 of Kabul four days ago.
He died in hospital on Wednesday. The president visited his coffin.
