Afghan government expresses concern over US-Taliban draft deal

Sediq Sediqi, a spokesman for Afghan president, said on Twitter that the government welcomes any progress in peace process that would lead to ensuring sustainable peace and end to war.
He, however, said that the government’s main concern is that how the risks associated with the US-Taliban draft deal would be prevented.
He said that the Afghan government shares concerns of former US officials and senators over consequences of US-Taliban draft deal.
The Afghan government demands clarification over the accord in order to analyse risks and ‘unpleasant consequences’ and prevent them.
