Afghan communications ministry refers three corruption cases to AGO
Afghanistan's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said on Monday it had referred three corruption cases to the Attorney General's Office.

Sher Shah Nawabi, an adviser for the ministry, said at a press conference that the cases cover more than 20 million afghanis.
He explained that once case was related to internet project NEXA 2 costing 15 million afghanis.
He said that the contract for the project was awarded to a specific company without a real bidding process.
The other two cases are about attempt to illegally sell 20,000 Salaam SIM cards and NEXA 1 internet project.
The cases involve five employees of the ministry including three directors.
Nawabi urged AGO to immediately begin probe over the cases.
