Ghani orders ban on smuggling of pine nuts, pistachio, saffron

Based on the order, security forces should seized the items being smuggled and smugglers should be referred for prosecution.
Those who commit negligence on prevention of smuggling will also be prosucted.
The order requires security institutions and relevant authorities to implement necessary measures based on a specific plan and in coordination with the Administrative Office of the President in order to prevent the smuggling of pine nuts, pistachio and saffron at land and air borders.
