Kabul airport officials, employees arrested over smuggling: NDS

Some criminal rings were smuggling commercial goods in an organized manner in collusion with the culprits, the National Directorate of Security said in a statement.
They were arrested while allowing movement of the goods out of the airport illegally and without receiving customs duty, the statement said.
They culprits included two customs employees, five security officials of the customs and one who was transporting goods from Dubai to Kabul, according to the statement.
The culprits were referred for prosecution, it said.
