At least 20 human traffickers have arrested by National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel within the last one month in western Herat province.

The smugglers have been identified and arrested during special operations conducted by NDS personnel in various parts of Herat province.
Jailani Farhad spokesman of Herat governor told media reporter, the arrested smugglers during their primary investigations confessed to that they were involved in dozens human trafficking cases in the province.
The human traffickers has been introduced to judicial organs for further judgement, Farhad added.
According to reports, seven vehicles, three motorcycles and more than one millions Afghanis have been seized from the arrested traffickers.
