A group of 50 Taliban insurgents have been killed in Uruzgan province, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said.

MoD in a statement on Wednesday said, “The Taliban insurgents were killed last night in Gezab district of Uruzgan after facing the resistance of security forces.”
According to the statement, the insurgents were killed as a result of ground and air attacks by security forces.
MoD further added that the security forces have intensified their operations against Taliban and increased military pressures on the group.
