Ghani Awarded ‘Ghazni Wazir Akbar Khan’ Medal to US Amb. John Bass

During the gathering, President Ghani praised John Bass’s efforts during his mission in Afghanistan to strengthen and expand the comprehensive and amicable relations between Afghanistan and the United States, securing peace in the country and the region, and draw on his country’s assistance and cooperation to Afghanistan.
In the meantime, John Bass called Afghanistan’s success “America’s success” and stressed the need to continue efforts for a peaceful future in Afghanistan.
