First Cabinet Session Held Via Video Conference

The first cabinet session chaired by Ghani and with the participation of all the governors of the country, has been held at the Presidential Palace via video conference.


The Presidential Palace in a press release said that during the meeting President Ghani said that “an important and big step has been taken in the field of good governance, which is the participation of all governors of the provinces through a video conference.
In the meantime, the First Vice President has specified the duties of the governors of the provinces in the fight against the coronavirus and in order to expand the supply of services to all parts of the country.
In the meeting, Sarwar Danesh expressed his concerns about the spread of coronavirus in Kabul and the lack of attention of Kabul citizens to the plan to limit the restrictions, and said that the necessary attention should be paid to public awareness.
The cabinet also instructed the Ministry of Finance to adjust the amount of 70.64 million AFN from the budget of the Ministry of Interior and transfer it to the National Development Company for the purpose of preparing the prison buildings for urgent measures.
