361 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Afghanistan in past 24 hours
The Ministry of Public Health announced Sunday that the authorities have recorded 361 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours.
Wahid Majroh, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health, said the authorities recorded the new positive cases in various provinces.
According to Majroh, the authorities also recorded deaths of at least five people from COVID-19 disease while 65 others who had contracted the disease, have recovered.
He also added that the ministry of public has so far recorded 4,402 positive cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak of the virus in the country, including the 361 new cases.
Majroh further added that the virus has so far killed 120 people across the country including the 5 new deaths while a total of 558 others have recovered.
