Developing: Six Wounded as Gunmen Attack Hospital in Kabul
Armed men stormed a hospital in the western part of the Kabul on Tuesday, where the medical charity Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres – MSF) runs a maternity clinic, officials said.

Feroz Bashiri, Director of Government Media and Information Center says six civilians including two children were wounded in the incident.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says that security forces have rescued 72 people including women and children from the hospital.

The spokesman of MoI, Tariq Arian said efforts are underway to rescue others who trapped inside the hospital.
Armed men attacked the 100-Bed hospital in Dasht-e Barchi area of Kabul city at around 10:00am on Tuesday.
The Taliban group rejected involvement in the incident.

Marwa Amini, deputy spokeswoman of MoI said police are trying to bring the situation under control.

The 100-bed government-run facility is supported by Doctors Without Borders, which is also known by its French name Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), said Wahidullah Mayar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health.
