An airstrike killed 6 Taliban militants in northern Jawzjan province of Afghanistan, a day after similar airstrikes killed 21 militants in the same province.

The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the security forces conducted an airstrike in Aqacha district of Jawzjan province at around 10:30 pm local time on Friday.
The statement further added that the airstrike killed at least 6 Taliban militants.
The security forces conducted the airstrike as part of the ongoing operations to suppress the militants in Jawzjan, the 209th Shaheen Corps said, adding that a similar airstrikes killed 21 Taliban militnats in the same province on Thursday.
The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the airstrikes also killed three commanders of the group on Thursday.
