Afghan government has zero tolerance for terrorist and criminal networks, President Ashraf Ghani said on Monday, as he ordered a new security plan to be implemented in Kabul.

In a security meeting, the president said that security is the basic demand of people and that the new plan should be implemented without delay.
He said that authorities and resources will be given to security institutions adequately to avoid any delay in implementation of the plan.
Under the plan, Kabul districts will also receive attention.
The president said that insecurity is the major problem which residents in Kabul complain from and that attacks on religious scholars, government employees and human rights organizations and civil society activists should be prevented.
He also ordered the relevant institutions to remove traffic barriers and concrete blast walls and that officials should not disturb people while moving in the city.
