The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported 210 new Coronavirus cases within the last 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 33,594 cases.

Over the past day, 17 people died while 549 recovered, bringing those figures to 937 deaths and 20,700 recovered cases.

Positive cases were reported in the provinces of Kabul (141), Takhar (14), Paktia (12), Balkh (10), nine in Kunduz, seven in Badakhshan, three in Nimroz, two in Baghlan, Logar and Parwan provinces and one each in the provinces of Kunar, Panjsher, Kapisa and Nangarhar.

The MoPH said 591 samples were tested during the day.
