A senior defense ministry official was injured in a bomb blast in Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday.

The official, who is director of law and criminal investigation department at MoD, was injured after a bomb hit his vehicle near his home in Macroryan Kuhna of the city around 8:30 a.m.
Yosuf Ahmadzai, the official’s nephew, told 1TV that the official suffered leg injury and was in stable condition.
His driver was also injured in the blast and was admitted to hospital, Ahmadzai said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
