The governor of Zabul said four Taliban were killed and five injured when they launched an attack in the province’s Arghandab district on Tuesday night.

Governor Gul Islam Sial said “a large number of Taliban fighters” clashes with the security forces and a commander, identified as Mustafa, was among the killed.

He did not mention the Afghan security forces casualties but said that the attack was repulsed and emphasized that no civilians were injured.
The Taliban have not commented on the attack yet.
