The Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday reported 105 new cases of COVID-19 out of 416 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 36,368 countrywide.

The ministry also reported one death from COVID-19 that happened in Herat and 160 recoveries. The total recoveries are now 25,358 and total deaths are 1,270.
The recoveries were reported in Kabul (14), Herat (133) and Balkh (13).
The positive cases were reported in Kabul (37), Herat (39), Balkh (8), Takhar (3), Baghlan (1), Badghis (12), Logar (1) and Badakhshan (4).
According to data by the Ministry of Public Health, there are 9,740 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.
So far, 87,794 samples have been tested in the country’s laboratories, the ministry’s data shows.
