Local officials report, unidentified gunmen have shot dead two police officers in the Injil district of Herat province.

Abdul Ahad Walizada, Herat’s police spokesperson stated, the incident took place yesterday (around 5 pm), in Tebrian village of the Injil district.
Meanwhile, a civilian was killed and two others were injured in a motorcycle bomb blast in Qala-e-Naw, the capital of Badghis province.
Badghis police spokesman Tahsil Haidari said, The wounded have been transferred to the central hospital for treatment.
So far, no individual or a group has claimed the responsibilities for the incidents.
