U.N. Calls for Global Ceasefire
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has called for a worldwide ceasefire on the eve of the international peace day.
Guterres called on all the nations, to use peaceful and diplomatic means to end the conflict.
This year marks the international peace day as the Afghan government and Taliban negotiations in Qatar have moved on 10th day of its negotiation.
September 9 is the International Day of Peace, which is celebrated on this day every year.
