Security forces foiled an attempted blast in Kabul Thursday, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs in a statement, after discovering a vehicle embedded with Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).

Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said in a tweet that Kabul security forces discovered a vehicle fully loaded with explosive in Afghan capital.
According to Arian, the vehicle was found armed in Sang Noshta area, arresting at least three suspect who are introduced to relevant authorities for preliminary investigation.
Arian did not elaborate further about the suspects and their specific targeted area of attack, but said usually the Taliban insurgents carry such an offensive to harm Afghan forces and people.
