Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), Today (Sunday, June 26) the International Day against Drug Abuse and Trafficking.
Gutteres tweeted that the shadow of the drug challenge must be removed from the lives of millions People.
"On World Anti-Narcotics Day, we must make a commitment every day to lift this shadow and to address the issue and take the action it deserves," he said.
Afghanistan is one of the countries involved in narcotics. Opium, the raw material for heroin, is smuggled out of Afghanistan and makes up the bulk of the world's illicit drugs.
The Islamic Emirate has also banned the cultivation, purchase, sale and trafficking of narcotics.
