Russia's green light to strengthen relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

During a meeting with Tajikistan President Imam Ali Rahman, Russian President Vladimir Putin said his country is working to strengthen ties with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Moscow received political agents of the Islamic Emirate and called for strengthening trade and economic relations with Afghanistan.
 
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Moscow's confrontation with the West, its policy towards the region changed and it is now trying to create regional alignment in various political, military and economic spheres with the West.
