Every year, several doctors, merchants and money changers were kidnapped and the shops and jewelers' gold was looted in broad daylight and the people were fed up with this difficult situation. But in the past one year, this province has not witnessed such criminal events.
The citizens of Kunduz are also happy with the provision of security and the unprecedented reduction of criminal crimes.
At the same time, Kunduz police reports that criminal offenses and drug trafficking have been reduced to zero.
Obeidullah Abedi, the spokesman of the Kunduz Police Command, told AVA today, Monday, August 15, 2022: "After the order of Amir al-Mu'minin, we did not allow anyone to cultivate drugs in Kunduz, and during the last one year, the cultivation and trafficking of drugs in this province has reached zero."
The spokesperson of Kunduz Police stated that drugs were cultivated in the areas under the control of the republican government years ago. But by dominating this province, they have destroyed all the drug plantations.
According to him, all the sellers who sold drugs from other provinces in Kunduz have also been arrested.
Abedi added that in the last one month, 30 and in the last six months, 52 drug smugglers and sellers have been arrested in Kunduz, and hundreds of kilograms of drugs have been recovered from them.
He emphasized that the Kunduz security command is determined to take more measures and prevent drug cultivation and trafficking.
The spokesperson of the Kunduz Security Command also emphasized that the crime graph in Kunduz has reached zero and the people are satisfied with the provision of security in this province.
He said that the Kunduz police have arrested 115 people from all over Kunduz province on charges of criminal offenses in the last month alone.
According to him, some weapons and ammunitions have also fallen into the hands of Kunduz security forces from the arrested persons.
