Holding a calligraphy workshop by the Cultural Center of the Consulate General of Iran in Herat
The cultural department of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, with the presence of a number of university professors, school students and women, held a one-day calligraphy workshop at the headquarters of this cultural center.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Mehdi Haji Mohammadi Farimani; The Iranian calligraphy artist and graphic artist said in this educational workshop: The calligraphy works that he did in this class have been welcomed by the fans more than he imagined.
 
He stated: His own work is in the field of Nastaliq; but with the Nastaliq font, he has combined some works to make the font more beautiful.
 
Frimani also added: Herat is the cradle of art and there are many lovers of calligraphy in this city.
 
Meanwhile, Majid Khaleqnia; The official of the cultural department of the Iranian consulate in Herat said: "Today was a good day for all those who were present here and everyone saw how much the art of "Mr. Frimani" is appreciated.
 
According to him, the more knowledge-building and skill-building workshops are held, the more it will help the growth of calligraphy art.
 
Khaliqnia further stated: In such programs, efforts are made to connect artists of both countries with each other.
 
It should be noted that earlier this week, the Ashura exhibition "Sama Qalam" was held by the Cultural Department of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, with a display of about 30 works from the art collection of Mehdi Haji Mohammadi Farimani, which was warmly received by the cultural and art lovers of this province.
