Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid said in a press conference in Kabul on Thursday (August 25, 2022) that the countries of the region, including Russia, no longer have any concerns from the Daesh group in Afghanistan.

Based on Mujahid's statements, the forces of the Islamic Emirate have suppressed the terrorists affiliated to the Daesh group in an unprecedented way in the past one year.

Mujahid emphasized that the Islamic Emirate adheres to its obligations and does not allow any group to use the territory of Afghanistan against foreign countries.

Mujahid makes these statements while the Minister of Defense of Russia has recently said that ISIS and Al-Qaeda are active in Afghanistan and the ideology of religious radicalism and cross-border crimes are spreading.

Sergei Shoigu has said that considering the situation in Afghanistan, Russia will take measures to ensure the security of Central Asia.

In the other part of his speech, Mujahid mentioned that Ayman al-Zawahiri's dead body; the leader of the Al-Qaeda group has not been found and the investigation into his murder is still ongoing.

Referring to the patrolling of unmanned aircraft in the territory of Afghanistan, Mujahid also said that these aircraft belong to the United States and that their delegation is discussing this matter with the United States.

In response to the Indian Foreign Minister's statement about the start of the national dialogue process in Afghanistan, the Taliban spokesman said that the Taliban are using all options to return "political opponents".

He also pointed to the non-extension of the travel exemption for the officials of the Islamic Emirate by the UN Security Council and said that this action will have dire consequences for the people of Afghanistan and the international community is responsible for it.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate also addressed the border conflicts and said that creating insecurity at the borders of the country is a conspiracy of selfish people who want to create bad and mistrustful relations between Afghanistan and neighboring countries.

Recently, Taliban border forces clashed with Uzbek border guards on the border between the two countries. The conflict started after Uzbek border guards opened fire on civilians, killing at least three people.
