Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, During a visit to Kazakhstan, a US official told Radio Azadi that they asked the Islamic Emirate to respect the right of women and girls to work and educate, as well as to continue to establish an inclusive government.
He stated that Washington never supports military and armed resistance in Afghanistan. However, he claims that the US has relations with Islamic Emirate government officials, but that this is not a prelude to recognizing them.
Donald Lu, the United States Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, said:
There have been multiple fronts in Afghanistan opposing the Islamic Emirate administration so far, but none have received formal foreign support, and no country has spoken anything about cooperating with them.
“Everyone wants to make sure that the money is spent by the Afghan people to meet their needs, not for corruption or the military project,” he added regarding Afghanistan's frozen assets in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
