Afghanistan vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2022
Afghanistan will face Bangladesh for the 10th time in T20Is during their Asia Cup 2022 match in Sharjah.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, Afghanistan’s emphatic win over Sri Lanka in the opener of the tournament will obviously put Bangladesh under pressure in the match at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium.

Ahead of the encounter, Bangladesh’s technical consultant Sridharan Sriram characterised Afghanistan as a dangerous side while admitting that Afghanistan are a dangerous side.

Gulf News quoted Sriram as saying: “Afghanistan doesn’t depend on Rashid Khan alone. Rashid Khan is a world-class player, but there are others also. So we have prepared for Afghanistan as a team, not just Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi or Fazalhaq [Farooqi].”

In their recent T20 outings, Bangladesh have failed to impress, a failure that apparently prompted a change in the coaching staff.

For Sriram, his first assignment is going to be a challenge because the Afghans are on a high and have enough bowling and batting depth.

Spin maestro Rashid Khan told journalists that they, despite winning their first match, planned for every game.
Squaring off against each other for the first time in more than three years, each side will do all it can to make a match of it.
