Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A conference to collect aid for the victims of recent natural disasters was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul today, Thursday (September 1), with the presence of a group of officials of the Islamic Emirate and some representatives of international relief organizations and foreign diplomats.

Amir Khan Motaghi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, said in this meeting: The loss of life and money due to recent natural events in the country is high, and the victims need more than ever the help and support of countries and international charity organizations.

Motaghi asked all countries and the international community to consider political and humanitarian issues in Afghanistan separately.

According to him, attention to poor people who are affected by natural disasters should not be influenced by political issues.

Last week, the Islamic Emirate Disaster Management Commission said in a press conference in Kabul that in 21 provinces due to the recent floods in one month, 194 people were killed, 260 were injured, 12,020 houses were damaged or completely destroyed, and 9,000 properties were lost.
